CAMPINAS, Brazil – On Feb. 23, Aviagen® Latin America was pleased to be a part of the 20th Poultry Congress, El Salvador’s premier poultry event. El Salvador represents an important market for Aviagen, and the company was pleased to share the latest poultry management advice with producers in the country.
At the event, the global poultry breeding company’s Incubation Specialist Guillermo Reyes offered his insight on the advancement of incubation technology, as the hatchery plays a key role in ensuring successful outcomes for bird welfare and performance. Additionally, Technical Services Manager for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean (CAME) Dr. Luis Alfonso Pachón provided a comprehensive approach to ensuring chick quality, which is essential to bird welfare, livability and disease resistance, alleviating risks and maximizing production efficiency and profitability.
