Engaging with Bolivian market stakeholders
At a luncheon on Aug. 17 sponsored by Aviagen, team welcomed close to 400 attendees, who engaged in conversations about the benefits of the Ross® 308 AP broiler breeder to Bolivian poultry producers and ways to maximize flock performance, health and welfare.
Santiago Lovera, Technical Services Manager at Aviagen South America, excluding Brazil (SAEB), led a discussion on the importance of careful farm preparation for chick arrival and the impact on later broiler development. “Through careful management of the birds’ nutrition, environment and health, farmers can achieve a healthy growth rate with the Ross 308 AP in the first 40 days,” added Lovera.
Additionally, Rodrigo D'Amen, Manager of Technical Services at Aviagen SAEB, discussed effective breeder management during rearing. He emphasized “key factors essential for achieving uniform growth and an ideal growth profile, ensuring optimal reproductive health.”
