Aviagen Customers in Southeast Brazil Reach New Heights with Ross 308 AP Breeder Awards

Five growers achieve the top three positions in total eggs and total chicks per female housed in the southeast region

CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® customers in southeast Brazil continue to set the pace for success in flock welfare, sustainability and performance. To recognize these accomplishments, Aviagen in Brazil recently held the 7th edition of the Ross® 308 AP Breeder Awards, celebrating the dedication and skill of breeder growers whose management excellence brought out the full potential of their flocks.

This year’s honorees – Ad’oro, Avivar, Grupo Alvorada, Grupo Neto, and Rivelli Alimentos – were recognized for their performance in total eggs per female housed and total chicks per female housed up to 66 weeks of age, based on 2024 flocks.

“The steady progress of Ross 308 AP flocks across Brazil reflects the expertise and care of our customers,” said Luiz Mansano, Aviagen’s Commercial Manager in Brazil. “Their dedication to applying best practices and continuously improving flock management is what turns genetic potential into real-world success.”

Recognizing commitment across Brazil

The Ross 308 AP Breeder Awards are presented each year across three regional categories – North/Northeast/Central-West, Southeast, and South – and a national category recognizing the top three performers in each. Aviagen personally presents plaques and trophies to each winning customer. In cases of ties, a 0.5 tolerance rule is applied, which can result in companies sharing a position.
