CAMPINAS, Brazil – The Aviagen® Colombia team was pleased to connect with the local poultry community at the XXI FENAVI Congress, organized by the National Poultry Association of Colombia. Held from June 4-6, the team welcomed visitors to the Aviagen booth as a bronze event sponsor, engaging in important conversations about local challenges and the performance, welfare and sustainability benefits of the Ross® 308 AP, which thrives in Colombia and throughout Latin America. On June 4, two Aviagen experts addressed FENAVI attendees via the Incuba FORUM-LATAM broadcast from AviNews América Latina. Carlos Prada, Parent Stock (PS) Technical Assistant, participated in a panel on “PS Management and Nutrition Advances and Strategies for Hatching Eggs.” Likewise, Hatchery Technical Assistant John Jairo Mejía discussed “Innovations in Techniques and Technologies in Hatcheries” with another panel.
During a conference on June 6, Mário Sérgio Assayag, Senior Veterinarian for Aviagen Latin America, explored the multiple reasons that “Welfare and Sustainability are Good Business.”
