Aviagen Italia Celebrates Amadori Group as First Ross 162 Club Member

Ripro Avicola members awarded Ross 162 Club awardEDINBURGH, Scotland – Aviagen® Italia is pleased to announce that Ripro Avicola – a company part of Amadori group, which is a leading name in the Italian agri-food industry – is the first customer in the country to be officially welcomed into the Ross® 162 Club.

This recognition is awarded to Ross parent stock producers who achieve 162 or more chicks per hen housed (chicks/hh) by 60 weeks of age – a benchmark of outstanding breeder performance. Amadori group earned this distinction with three separate flocks that met or surpassed the milestone.

Emanuele D’Erasmo, Aviagen Italia Technical Service Manager, visited Ripro Avicola’s farm team to honor their accomplishment, present the award plaques, and discuss the management practices behind their success.

“We congratulate the entire team on this remarkable result,” said Emanuele. “It reflects excellent flock management, a strong focus on biosecurity and bird welfare, and great collaboration between the rearing and production farms.”

Emanuele will continue travelling across Italy to present Ross 162 Club awards to other top-performing customers, supporting the continued growth and progress of the country’s breeder sector.
