Aviagen was honored to be cited as an industry-leading example of compartmentalization by the Department of Veterinary Services, which encouraged wider adoption of this process that recognizes common management and biosecurity measures across a group of production units. Compartmentalization enables international trade to continue in the event of a notifiable disease outbreak.

Dr. Keat Fu, Senior Technical Services Veterinarian for Aviagen Asia, was present to represent Aviagen at the event, along with other team members. He noted that attendees took the opportunity to interact with the Aviagen group, and their feedback indicated that the company's approach to sustainable performance, welfare-focused breeding, and industry collaboration was warmly received by Malaysian industry representatives.
